A visit to the PRO RODEO HALL OF FAME includes films of how the West and cowboys came together to form this unique partnership of Rodeos. Memorabilia of past champions and beautiful statues - all part of Western heritage. We will then go to the AIR FORCE ACADEMY where the beauty and wildlife abounds. A visit to the ALL-FAITH CHAPEL is a highlight of how all denominations can worship under one roof. Come see how our cadets live while getting trained to be Officers in tomorrow's Air Force. A stop at the WESTERN MUSEUM OF MINING AND INDUSTRY will end this day tour. A guided tour of Colorado's rich colorful mining past.

A wonderful day in Colorado visiting the GARDEN OF THE GODS and finding our "How those red rocks got there"! A step-on guide will inform you of the park. We will leave the park and go to OLD COLORADO CITY where one seems to go back in time. Shopping in this area is a real unique pleasure. You will find something for everyone here. A visit to MICHAEL GARMAN'S "MAGIC TOWN" and a tour of the SIMPICH DOLL CO. will complete this day. I'm sure we will have room for all your purchases - or some of the stores will gladly mail them home for you.

Tour 0112

A fabulous day is in store for you. Lots of walking and sights to see. We are off to BUCKSKIN JOE'S. A taste of the old west with gunfights, old stores to shop in - and a railway ride to the rim of the Royal Gorge. Includes a horse drawn trolley ride and antique car and train museum. Next, we are off to the ROYAL GORGE BRIDGE - home of the worlds highest suspension bridge. Lunch on your own and you will have a good selection to choose from. To finish the day be sure to ride the tram and incline - both of which are included.

Tour 0113

A real sporty day is in store for you. First stop will be the OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER. Includes a slide presentation and a guided tour of the center. We will also stop at the FIREMAN'S MEMORIAL that is located near by in our city. We will then head for the Broadmoor area. Lunch on your own (with a few recommendations from me when you get there). You will see why the BROADMOOR HOTEL has a "5" STAR rating! We will go to the ICE SKATING MUSEUM where you will see the past greats of figure skating. For our final stop we will go to VAN BRIGGLE ART POTTERY. A slower pace. See how pottery is made. Maybe you will find that special piece of
"Made in Colorado" that you can't live without.

Tour 0114

Today we are leaving Colorado Springs and heading to Denver. We will visit the DENVER MINT and see how U.S. coins are made. We will leave there for a real treat at a very special Mexican, all you can eat, restaurant called "CASA BONITA". You will have the pleasure of an inside waterfall that is large enough to have cliff divers, a mariachi band playing while you eat and other entertainment. It is a MUST SEE when you are here in the Rockies. When we are all full to the brim - we will leave for CASTLE ROCK OUTLET CENTER. Here you will be able to do some shopping and have some time on your own.

First stop will be GHOST TOWN. You will journey into the past at this authentic 1800's old west ghost town. It is complete with a saloon, sheriff's office, barber shop, blacksmith and much more. In the summer months they even pan for gold. We will also make a stop at VAN BRIGGLE ART POTTERY. See how a piece of clay becomes that beautiful piece of pottery that adorns the gift shop. We will then be off to MANITOU SPRINGS. You will find some really neat restaurants to choose from while browsing. A wonderful town that has preserved it's past. Some of the items they offer include are linens, Indian jewelry, western apparel. Next, we will stop in OLD COLORADO CITY. We will stop in at MICHAEL GARMAN'S STUDIO and tour his MICHAEL GARMAN'S "MAGIC TOWN". Also, a tour of the SIMPICH DOLL CO. is a must. See how these dolls have become a part of so many people worldwide - who knows - you may be their newest client.

Tour 0116

This is an afternoon to evening selection. Starting first with the AIR FORCE ACADEMY and the ALL-FAITH CHAPEL. Next stop will be the GARDEN OF THE GODS and why the rocks are red will for sure be answered by a step-on guide. As the day goes we will finish out the day by going to the FLYING W RANCH. This is a working cattle and horse ranch. Browse through their neat old shops. Be sure to look at their old chapel - a replica of an early American western building. A real Chuckwagon BBQ under the stars (weather permitting - otherwise inside seating is available) and a wonderful entertainment by the Flying W Wranglers will put the topping on this wonderful day.

We will leave Colorado Springs and head for our mile high city, Denver. We will visit the DENVER MINT and see how our U.S. coins are made. We will eat lunch at the wonderful all you can eat Mexican restaurant, "CASA BONITA". Be prepared to be in awe of this place. You will see a waterfall and have entertainment of cliff divers and a mariachi band while you eat. Enjoy walking around afterward to see it all. We will leave there and go to COORS BREWERY. It is a neat experience to see how beer is made.

Tour 0118

We will leave Colorado Springs early and head for the oldest town in Colorado. The town is called SAN LUIS. The STATIONS OF THE CROSS SHRINE included at this very authentic Mexican are on a hillside. Lunch is restaurant. We will have a guided tour of the Stations and if the sculptor is in town you will get to meet him as well as seeing where these statues are made. We will also tour some old missions of the area.

Tour 0119

We will leave Colorado Springs early for the southeastern part of our state. Here we will see what one man's dedication of a dream can do. He is building his very own castle. Known as BISHOP'S CASTLE we will se what perseverance is really all about. Afterward we will enjoy the scenic drive through the San Isabel National Forest on our way to Walsenburg. We will have lunch there before departing for the SAND DUNES. In the middle of these awesome mountain ranges, sits this beautiful oasis of sand! Explore the Visitor Center and find out how and why these dunes exist. It is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.
